Have this guy testify in congress for national concealed carry reciprocity and greater funding for after school programs. And to be honest, I'm not surprised by his response...ALL of the data points to this as well - but Democrats ignore the value of concealed carry ("Guns are scary! Let's ban them or maker it harder for people to buy them legally!") and Republicans ignore the return on investment of these kids/young people doing something productive in the afternoon/summers ("The .gov already spends too much money! Let's cut this social services budget some more!").

This has been my issue with ANZAC's argument all along. Criminals do not go through legal channels to get their guns. Period. They either subvert (straw purchase, which is already illegal) or avoid a BGC altogether. Notice he has yet to chime in?

He finally stated that criminals will get guns other ways. But he still likes 594.

As I pondered this last night....Although this is insight into one type of criminal, I wonder how accurate it is for all types. Is this a pretty good indicator for all, or just to organized gangs?
I immagine the mafia might have different techniques, but as far as I know they are not a large threat to your average citizen.

They either subvert (straw purchase, which is already illegal) or avoid a BGC altogether. Notice he has yet to chime in? Why would he chime in when he knows there are guys waiting to jump him like a guy who just dropped the soap in a prison shower. I thought the stuff was a fun read. At one point someone asked him if he would do a live version and he said no because as it is he can't really produce proof. All we have to go on is his word, so that does open the door to having a crafty wordsmith well versed on gang activity who was never in a gang write all this. That aside it was still a fun read with good points and incite as to what probably happens in most street gangs. Having those after school activities would be great, I did stuff after school when I was a kid all the time. But who is going to pay for them? My parents had to pay for my activities, and I'm going to go out on a limb and guess most of the kids who end up gang banging have parents who probably can't afford to pay for after school activities. So who picks up their tab?
