A envoy from a nation with normal diplomatic relations visited Olympia today. Other than the gaff on how the flag was flown, proper honors were shown by flying the flag of the visitor's nation. They'd do the same if it was the Brits or the Canuks or whatever.

Well, Chinese generals publicly threatening Taiwan, and building up forces on that portion of the Chinese coast directly across the straights, and having threatened the sinking of the US 5th fleet, harassment of The Philippines over the Spratly islands, Building an artificial Island off of south Vietnam in the south china sea to intimidate both Vietnam and the Philippines and to contest territory there, and Japan over the Senkaku islands, as well as an internal anti-japan propaganda campaign, forcing japan to heighten it's military posture regards china speak for themselves.

Communist Chinese bluster is pretty good bluster. It's pretty effective. Vietnam is communist, but it's never taken it's marching orders from China. The Chinese aim to change that and gain strategic control over that region as well.

No, he doesn't like to argue. To do that requires an argument. He prefers to simply harass you until you go away. He uses various tactics to do this such as:

1. Outright dismissal without counterpoint.
2. Endless demands for links, quotes, citations, which he then casually dismisses.
3. Deflection.
4. Confirmation bias.
5. Backhanded insult. Sometimes fore-handed.

You see, he is most simple minded in his methodology, as he is lazy and doesn't wish to work very hard. therefore he resorts to the internet equivalent of sticking his fingers in his ears and yelling 'NAH NAH NAH I CAN"T HEAR YOU!'.

What is the point? The point is this:

He doesn't like to topic, or the poster, and endeavors to kill the thread by burying the original topic, or getting the thread locked.

Therefore, Watch as I refuse and further attempt to sway the topic from it's original thrust.
