Gary, calling you to the mat. Give me ONE example where somebody has been "consistently inciting verbal riots" and never gotten a time off. Can you? I bet you can't. Let me lay it all out for you, and the rest of the membership. You have ZERO clue about what happens behind the scenes. You have ZERO clue about what disciplinary actions we dish out and to whom. Yet you have no problem stepping up on your wine barrel soap box and preaching complete and utter bullshit.

I direct this to all the people who think that there are people here who have a free pass. There isn't a free pass. You think banning a person here in WaGuns is just a simple flip of the switch? Think again. In order to get banned from WaGuns, you really have to be an asshole, dick, or really cross that line. We have a "tribunal" of sorts, where before a person is banned, it is discussed, openly between all the mods and assholes admins. Sure, there is that special few who get the tribunal after the switch gets thrown, but it's still discussed. There even has been a time or 2 where the group felt the initial smackdown was a little harsh and reduce the ban... There has also been the opposite, where a temporary cool down has turned into a nice, long vacation.

Think there is this one moderator that has a hard-on for you and is consistently stalking you waiting for you to cross that line? Think again! Honestly... We don't care. We all follow the same set of rules, same CoC, same... everything. I can understand that getting banned may feel like a personal shot to your balls, but it's not to us. We love all of you, and it hurts us discipline you just as much as it sucks to be disciplined. We discipline because YOU have shown the lack the ability to control yourself by following the very few, and very simple rules that we have. Rules that were created mostly, BY your fellow members.

Wonder why you got banned and another person didn't or did as well? Guess what, it doesn't matter why or why not that person did or did not get their account suspended. All that matters is why did YOU get your account suspended. No doubt if you get sent on a vacation, you did something wrong. Can you admit that? Can you see that you lacked the proper ability to control yourself and so we took you offline to protect you and our fellow members? Yes? Great, welcome back! No? Lame, the defense rests your Honor.

We are a VERY diverse group of people, spanning races, sexes, mental capacity, firearm knowledge, orientation, religion, backgrounds, nationality, blood alcohol content, etc. You are not always right, neither are they.

If you have a problem with a member, you have a few choices.
1) Ignore it. We are all different, accept that and move on.
2) Add the person to your foe/enemy list (yes, that means you need to resist the urge to click on their posts)
3) Report it! See that triangle, hit it. Let us know why it is a violation of the CoC.

If you feel like you need to make it your life's quest to prove somebody wrong on the internet, you are not going to have a good experience here.

I am sorry if we have failed to protect you from yourself, or the members who scare you. I personally apologize to all of you for not being able to back you up in times when you haven't been able to control yourselves. But, I cannot promise that my apology will change me/us/this/them.

I can promise though, that nobody is above the rules. Which is what this thread seems to be about.

Will this thread last on here for a while? Probably not. I'll probably come to my senses later on and trash it, for the greater good and all that.

Me! In November I got 2 days off for questioning the feedback system when someone doesn't do a deal but gets positive feedback. When I comment to a certain person "It's a good thing you aren't elected" I get 2 days off!

You want a diverse community but when crap hits the fan you don't punish BOTH Parties involved. Hello, it takes 2 to fight!

1st - Rencorp. He violated the CoC, and he got banned for 3 days. This is shortly after he violated the CoC and got a warning for it. Does it really matter WHO he violated it against? I mean, if it does, then we are playing favorites right?

Now, you.... You questioned the FB system. And when we gave you an answer to the question, you freaked the fuck out in PM's against MadPick and I. You got banned for that, 2 days as well. You kept on taking pot shots and Steve and I, after numerous PM's where we were trying to talk with you about our reasonings... Your final PM, when you said; "Yes it's your site and you have executive order privilege. I guess you're lucky you aren't elected".. We had finally had enough.


Now, again, please go back to my first post and provide my an example for what you are claiming....

Nope, no and in the vagina. You asked and I replied. The fact is that people make heated/stupid remarks and when someone gets in their face over it you should be giving them BOTH time out for (A) breaking the code of conduct and (B) starting the issue in the 1st place. Lol.. We have never banned a person over asking why we do something a certain way.. In fact, we ENCOURAGE it. Just recently a bunch of members help modify the revision to the CoC.

Sometimes BOTH people get time out's.. It's actually the most common scenario actually. A lot of weight goes into history, post intent and actual CoC violations.

As mentioned above in MY OP.. There are 3 options that YOU as a concerned member can do about a post or set of posts you do not like. I suggest you follow those guidelines and let the mod staff do their work. If you would like to apply for a moderator position, please feel free to apply.

I will come to the resolve that you cannot provide the information in which you had no problem defaming us about. I'll just chalk this up to a life lesson. I won't ban you or anything....
