Nope, no and in the vagina. You asked and I replied. The fact is that people make heated/stupid remarks and when someone gets in their face over it you should be giving them BOTH time out for (A) breaking the code of conduct and (B) starting the issue in the 1st place. I will say for someone to get time off for questioning the powers at be is pretty damn petty.

Lol.. We have never banned a person over asking why we do something a certain way.. In fact, we ENCOURAGE it. Just recently a bunch of members help modify the revision to the CoC.

Sometimes BOTH people get time out's.. It's actually the most common scenario actually. A lot of weight goes into history, post intent and actual CoC violations.

As mentioned above in MY OP.. There are 3 options that YOU as a concerned member can do about a post or set of posts you do not like. I suggest you follow those guidelines and let the mod staff do their work. If you would like to apply for a moderator position, please feel free to apply.

I will come to the resolve that you cannot provide the information in which you had no problem defaming us about. I'll just chalk this up to a life lesson. I won't ban you or anything....

SO I said something to the extent (feel free to post exactly what I said unedited) that feedback like this undermines the integrity of the feedback system because no deal was done.
Then I asked if I could give negative feedback when someone said something I didn't like.
I got a response that said "We'll look into it and we may or may not get back to you" so I replied It's a good thing you aren't elected.

Freaked out? No way Dan. I was calling a spade a spade and got a vacation for questioning authority the right way - USING A PM instead of airing dirty laundry. I did NOT freak out.

I got a 3 day holiday for verbally bitch slapping some one after I was warned not to.

Not an excuse, but that guy really fried my circuits regarding what it means to be part of this country's population.

Well, the pen is mightier than the sword, so I used my butt hurt 3 days off to figure out how to get my points across with some threads that allow both myself and others to express our feelings about - WHAT IS RIGHT ABOUT THIS COUNTRY.

We all know about some of the stuff that is wrong, the media knows, lots of negativity out there in the world already, asnd it makes me puke, already.

So, fuck that, I decided to focus on some of the positive things about this great country and it's citizens.

I am all about promoting what is right about the USA, because there are too many ass hats doing the opposite out there in the world.

It worked out pretty good. I expressed myself, others argued, whined, and made themselves look silly, and some - got the point.

Bottom line - someone you don't like based on their posts here is giving you some idea of who they are as a human being, is just that kind of person, for the most part.

And there are a couple of them that are skilled at verbally getting people like me and others to run around in circles, barking, and biting our own tails.

Well, good for them. I learned how to ignore the crap, misdirection, interpretation, accusation, and still put up a pretty good fight.

So, check out my threads on Dolittle's Raiders - heroes, the ordinary Americans who inspired us to be better people.

Apart from that, silence and no response is the best way to deal with a gadfly.

They cannot stand it when they don't get a reaction from the rest of us - their whole reason for existing is to get a rise out of us.

Well, we try to let members air their opinions. If they happen to be about a personnel problem or a member problem, we want those to go through PM or email to us though. To Classic, face it man.. There are a lot of things that we are never going to see eye to eye on. For a long time, after you got banned from SGN, you were a very supportive member. Somewhere along that road, a detour was taken. Not sure if it was us, you or a combination of both, but it is what it is. I am not going to ask you to change who you are, just as I am not going to change who I am. What I will say, is that you have caused a bit of discussion in sidebar discussions about the site. Most of them may not have gone your way, but you have made a positive impact on this site, for that, Thanks.

To Rencorp, your Canadian, so I know you'll apologize for anything and everything.... :) You too have been one of the most rock solid members who has been banned from SGN that we have ever had. You have, if anything always been consistent. Even though you are from the great white north, you have more 'Merican Freedom running through your veins than a lot of us. Keep doing what you do and how you do it.

To the members who are a daily and active part of this site. You members, who we see contribute on almost every thread; It's that consistency and contribution that makes WaGuns as accommodating and inviting that it is today. Cliques that have formed on other sites seem to not be visible here. Everybody to you is an equal, regardless if they have 2 posts, or 20,000. It's that framework that keeps this place running, not the coding behind the site. Whenever one of you goes off the temporary deep end and gets a timeout, it hurts the site, as much as it hurts your pride. The old adage, can't we all get along? Comes into play.

To the people who's views may not be the mainstream... You are welcome here. We don't care if you are a full citizen yet, we don't care if you think OC is stupid, we don't think if you think CC is stupid... As long as you are legally able to own a firearm and are a firearm enthusiast, you are welcome here.
