How about this? Know the rules of engagement and apply them with temerity. If you cannot reasonably articulate, in a convincing fashion, how a person with his back toward you, and moving away from you, presents a reasonable fear of death or severe bodily injury, do not shoot. Or, let us know when your court date is scheduled.
