the feedback I left for ANZAC

Mon Apr 06, 2015 3:16 pm

Since we're on the subject, and people have issue with it yet never told me directly, here ya go. Directly from the source:

I left that particular feedback for ANZAC for a couple main reasons:

1. He helped me out a great deal "backchannel" with questions about many things.....I was going to buy an expensive piece of equipment from him, and after enduring many requests for information from me, only then having to back out due to it not fitting on my FZJ80 Land Cruiser, was still cordial polite and great to deal with. I have no doubt any other transaction that gets completed with him will go through perfectly.

2. Got tired of people telling him "well you can't have an opinion cuz you have no feedback"......paraphrased but you get the drift. Like because a guy doesn't have feedback his opinion isn't allowed? I'd rather deal with a 0 feedback guy with good people character than a 455,000 feedback guy who is a legend of awesomeness in his own mind..... or something like that, but is actually a bit of a jerk.

...so I wrote the feedback in a way that I knew would make sense to some, get a rise out of others, and maybe ruffle some feathers a bit of those who are narrow minded..... ANZAC couldn't care less either way about the feedback which is cool but he's a decent dude IRL and some other folks could take a lesson from him on how to conduct themselves as people.

*EDIT*
As far as it undermining the integrity of the system.....it's a rough-in at best to begin with. I've made special trips to help fellow members on more than a few occasions and received positive feedback for it. I've also had many great deals where no feedback was left. I've also personally had to flake on a couple deals due to scheduling conflicts---in fact just recently I accidentally left zombie66 hanging @ the 512/I-5 McDonald's because I had a service call out to the middle of nowhere at 0200 and couldn't get back in time, and didn't have cell signal for more than a few hours......yet he didn't leave me a negative, even though he could have, and I would understand it.

So there ya go. Fire back if you want...use PM, or hell even send a hate text. Just make it good, like death threats or some slam on my mother. I want to be entertained dammit. 360-890- five seven three zero

I have bought from other members here (5.56 from usagi and some other accessories from others) but I can't be bothered chasing down feedback.

I'm not sure my feedback deserved its own thread but I appreciate the thought.

Shall I write a story about how I stood you up @ Cabela's only to drive ALL THE WAY to Bellevue to surprise you at work?

"I sat in my windowless van behind the Lakewood McDonald's nervously stroking the barrel of my gun. Would he show? Would he really do as he had promised? Would we complete the deal after all? I could hardly wait for for him to arrive, and take the long, smooth shaft of my gun in his hands. We'd exchange money later, but first we had to do the deed."

So go grab your own barrel and pull on it, now that you got yourself all excited and stuff.

"I could hardly wait for him to put his fingers up inside my box. I was nervous though, doing this sort of thing behind McDonald's for money went against my proper Christian upbringing, but sometimes a girl just had to do what she had to do in order to pay the bills. Besides, his picture made him look kinda cute. This could be fun and profitable. "

And, I am not a Christian.

Nor do I have ammo cans for sale any more.

Dan got them all.

I was an ammo can pimp for a while.

Boxes are what the grocery store packer used to put your groceries into.

Up in The Great White North, we Canadian men hunt for the beavers - no boxes for us.
