I heard on Kiro radio last night that seven other responding officers were now under investigation for mis-conduct as a result of there actions. They didn't elaborate, it was just a "top of the hour update".

I heard this also. Apparently in their report they also said they continued CPR until' the aid units arrived.. From every video clip I saw, this was not preformed once.

NOT defending this POS officer or shoot by any means..

BUT, might you not see CPR on the video because he was still alive when the video ends? You see the one officer check pulse, then the video cuts off shortly after that in the one I watched. But no way of knowing at that point if he was deceased or still alive.. You cannot say they did NOT perform it just because it was not shown on the video, unless that video shows the Aid rolling up and it had not been performed.. The video I watched did not prove or disprove that part of the officers reports..

The video is certainly disturbing, but we've been through enough of these dramas that we should all know that surprises pop up later . . . the rest of the video, the rest of the story, a 911 call, or whatever.

Pass judgment on what you see in the video, sure, but as far as passing judgment on the officer or the guy that was shot, I'm with those that say, "wait until the trial."

There's clearly a piece in the middle where they went hand to hand, that we don't have on video except at the very beginning of the eyewitness video.

It is possible the eyewitness video-ed that portion too. I'm interested to know whether the phone was taken as evidence or just the video we've seen.

As to the "cops said they performed CPR", all we have is the media report. The actual report could be "we rendered aid" and the media turns that into "we performed CPR". The media ALWAYS gets things wrong. I see it every day.

Also the media is playing up the "planting of evidence" but overlooks that it seems like he picks up the same object at 2:04 into the video. Again, the media tries to paint a picture of a very deliberate act either through omission of information or misinformation.

I agree it looks like a bad shoot, but the media will continue to twist and promote a version of the story that is even worse than it is.
