Good.

I have a feeling departments are realizing that Ferguson (as Bs as it was) was a wakeup call..

Ie... 'keep doing this shit... See what happens... There's thousands of us, and only a couple dozen of you'

I hope the pendulum doesn't swing too far though... Don't wanna see good officers fired for saying 'damnit' during a traffic stop... Or something stupid like that.

I might be new here, but you really seem to have a large chip on your shoulder when it comes to LE.

There's that 'A' word again....

Accountable

Are you for or against accountability?

Not at all. However, would you say you are accountable for the ax you are out to grind? I mean, it is pretty obvious and I am in no way trying to troll on you. Just simple powers of observation is all. Carry on.

So if I don't like something that's wrong, I have an axe to grind?

I think it's funny..

I started one of the 5 threads currently active involving police misconduct, but I have the axe to grind.

I must be slipping.

I think it comes from wanting to be a cop but knowing it would never happen so Cops are bad

OTOH we have a clear cut case of police fuckery going on here, and it is obvious that since Ferguson, rightly or wrongly there has been a greater scrutiny on police shootings and behavior, and some rather bad cases have been coming to light. This is a good thing and should be applauded.

That's like saying we only think our president is bad because none of us will be the president lol. I personally have a disdain for anyone in a position of power who isn't held accountable for their own mistakes, especially when their job is holding people accountable for their mistakes. I can't believe on a place like a firearm forum where I assume most people preach responsibility, accountability, and doing the right thing just want to give these guys a free pass no matter no matter what the case is or what kind of damage they cause.
