Incidentally the full lyrics to the Star Spangled Banner are interesting, as they include a line mocking escaped slaves who had gone over to the British side to fight for their freedom and former masters. Key saw it a traitorous act.

Three? I know of two. Could be used as a 1) cleaning rod, 2) to unscrew the barrel nut.......
I suppose you could use it as 3) some kind of mag loader or 4) a shoe horn.
