Pretty good amount of snow in the Black Hills @ 0500...
Started about where the Ranch House BBQ joints is and stuck around to the 101/SR8 merge. Then again on the hill after Mud Bay.
Caught some people off guard---vehicles up against the cable barriers by Kennedy Creek.
WSDOT had plows out; three trucks on that one stretch. People still driving too fast for conditions.
