I think this is a sign of societal decay, but it could just be old age talking here.
It's like the people who mosey across the street, apparently intentionally slowing traffic. That shit didn't happen where and when I grew up.

It would be interesting to see the solid data (numbers) regarding attendance.
I have mixed feelings about the NFL. I enjoy watching a game occasionally (doesn't matter who is playing, much) but think it did them and maybe all of us some good to have some attendance feedback for the political posturing during the national anthem.

I blame hip hop. Or rap. Or whatever that shit is called these days. These athletes thrive on it, and it is not exactly music that reeks of respect or dignity. So expecting them to be little angels is a bit of a stretch.

Well, just to get the cankled one out of our NFL thread....
It was nice to see the Hawks dominate time of possession against the Giants. Then the defense wasn't gassed in the 4th quarter like they have been.
Typical slow start needs to get remedied, though. Russell's passing has been pretty bad lately, but he's a hard worker, so it makes me wonder what he's been working on. It'll be nice to see whatever that is down the road, but we can't always count on overcoming the slow starts like we were able to do the Super Bowl years....

I've been furiously yelled at by Don Renzulli and one his lackies on two separate occasions while they were employed be the NFL. If you all think the players have problems, remember, an organization's attitude is set from the top down.

Don Renzulli worked for the NHL until he resigned.
Perhaps he was working on behalf of the NHL at an NFL stadium for an outdoor game?

Nah. Don Renzulli worked for the NFL before he worked for the NHL.
https://www.linkedin.com/in/don-renzulli-0b34855 This happened during pre-production for SuperBowl 39 in Jacksonville, FL at the Adam's Mark Hotel.
I also worked with Don on one event while he worked for the NHL. 2008 and the NHL was having a hockey rink built for a NHL game on Wrigley Field. I asked a woman where they wanted their monitors setup and she said, "...you have ask Don." Don who? Oh...great. I went and asked him, and we walked together across the snow covered field at Wrigley so he could point out the areas inside the stadium where he wanted them. I asked him, "Don, do you remember me." "No.", he replied. I told him he yelled at me at the Adam's Mark over the house sound not working prior to his meeting and that I was getting a speaker on stick to take care of his meeting. He said some along the lines of, "Oh. Yeah...I yell at people a lot. I'm glad you got out of that Hell/shit hole." Again, not taking kindly to his remarks. This time about my hometown.
