Your ESPN article.... QBR?
His passer rating is 95.. Tell me another QB that could put up his stats with the Oline that he has. Go ahead and hop on your google machine powered by an email service that supports the NFL... Ill wait for your answer.
As for his interceptions he has 6, that equals to 14th most in the NFL. Guess who has more? Matt Ran, Big Ben, Phillip Rivers and Dalton..
But nice try, swing and a miss once again.
Russell is doing remarkable things with what he has.
*Craptastic Oline
*Starting RB out for the season
*Did I mention the worst Oline in football?
Pretty sure the 49ers have a worse O-line.
Well to be fair Staley is a beast and better than any of Seattles line.
Seattle just picked up a hell of a left tackle in Brown.

Yup, proof he's the best!

You're simply very biased when it comes to the Seaducks. They are barely 5-3 and only due to some very lucky plays and last moment wins. Wilson is not even in the top 10 for QBs. In fact, one might say that he did so well in recent years because of a great Oline and RB and receivers.
They won't win 11, and they will be watching the super bowl on TV.
All you have is excuses.
Again, they would be in 2nd or 3rd place in every division and they are 2nd in the 2nd to worst division in the league. They simply suck... you can spin it all day long but the end result is reality.
Excuses? You mean facts?
Oh noes, the superbowl play. Yup that sucked, but winning a ring the uear before was worth it. You crack me up, the Hawks are 5-3 eight games into a 16 week season. Only half way in buttercup. If they didnt have Russell, thsy wouldbe 2-6, easily. Not many qbs could survive behind that oline.
Im far from biased to the Hawks or Russell, if you look back through this thread and last years you will see that. Not a top 10 qb? Name 10 that are better and that you would take pver him...ill wait for that list.
Continue to post old links, and random shit that you dont lnow about. Its free entertainment.

Yeah, and just how good are the seagulls gonna do with no running back? Carson's likely out of the season. Their next best is Lacy with a 2.7 rushing average and a whopping 20 yards/game average. Heck, Wilson is their best rusher (piling 77 of his rushing yards Sunday)! lol. How long is that gonna last...? Wilson throwing and doing all the rushing every game, himself giving the ball away an average of almost 1.5 times/game.
Wilson had a dismal 70 QB rating Sunday, and 2 official pics along with a 3rd not counted. He's averaging a fumble every 2 games with 4 fumbles on the season in addition to his 6 pics for 10 turnovers. He has 3 turnovers Sunday, and a 4th unofficial pic on the 2-pt conversion.
Yeah, they were 5-2 with a decent healthy running back, and now 0-1 with no RB. Good luck going forward. Result is Wilson has 3 pics, does all the scrambling and rushing, they score 0 offensive points until 4 minutes into the 4Q, and they lose...

Again you fail to be current with your shit talking. Chris Carson was lost over a month ago BEEN 4-1 SINCE, not recently and is out for the year. This proves even more how valuable Russell is to this team. Hes been keeping the Hawks in games single handedly. Yup one bad game in shitty weather yet he sucks. Keep trollin on and grasping for straws.
I didnt know that Russell was to blame for missing the field goals. Interesting. If the kicker does his job, we win.
Still waiting on your top 10 qb list.

What is so funny is you say you hate pro sports, yet here you are stat nerding like a diehard. Why? Dont try and act edgy when you really watch football all day.

Yes but he is currently injured and most the rest of our line started the season on practice squads. Not sure what it is with Santa Clara but it seems like since the move every year has been tons of injuries.

This year the Hawks defense is ranked 13th. Far from domimant unlike years past.

If you rank the defenses by points allowed per game they are 5th.

I was sorting by total d, not just points.
Still down per the normal top 3.

Two things cost us that game.
Obviously, the field goals. Not only did we come away with no points, but every kickoff is an opportunity for a takeaway, or momentum shift.
The other thing was switching up the D on the last drive. We'd played mostly zone the whole game, but on their last drive, we switched to bump & run man coverage? WTH? And without Earl back there to cover mistakes? That was a recipe for disaster.
I'm frustrated, but happy we always have a chance to win every game

That's what makes it fun.
Go Hawks!

I also cant figure out why they wasted a crucial timeout, then went for two while up four points. Not having that timeout was HUGE

Yep, and going for 2 only makes sense under one scenario, just not the one that played out.
If we had made the PAT, we could have tied at the end with a field goal & forced OT.
Though maybe Pete was done with Blair Witch......but it doesn't sound like it, since they aren't bringing any kickers in this week.
