Ya, I sent her on her way and said I would think about it.
Very pretty lady, great job, 10 years younger than me, self supporting, no kids, a catch except for that.
Did some research, she was very low risk for transmission, but my gut feeling was like I would be fucking bio hazard.
Couldn't get into it.

Just glad she told me.
I've never had a 'cold sore' and want to keep it that way.

Turned out later that she was also bat shit crazy.

She came back and said 'Well, I cheated and payed the ultimate price.'
I said "What the fuck? You have AIDS?????"
She said 'no, just herpes.'

No kidding.

I'm old school. On line dating services didn't exist. Cell phones didn't exist. Unless you were NSA or CIA, nothing close to the internet existed.

It was trench warfare, hand to hand combat. No previews, no texting. It was strategies, plans, and logistics for a successful mission.

One strategy was to read the fashion section of the newspaper, looking for designers who were having a show, or some other upcoming fashion event. Sometimes that meant an after party, with...wait for it...the models. Go to the after party, chat up some cute girls, get a date. That's how I met my wife, but that's another story.

I suffered terribly during my single years...

Why the hell can't some of these beautiful women take "no" for an answer? It's not like they had trouble finding dates. It's a very awkward situation to be put in... Being out for business or relaxation and constantly having women slip their arm in mine, try to sit on my lap if I was on a bench.
And the fistfights that's erupt as they jockeyed for positions closer! My god, women are not gentle with each other when fighting for the genetic material.
The worst is waking up to find a beautiful naked woman climbing in to bed uninvited. I hated that... Very difficult to resist the animal urges when caught in surprise that way, but I wanted to save my purity for inside the bonds of matrimony.
"Now I know I should say no
But that's kind of hard when she's ready to go"

The worst period of my life Rick. I was kidnapped by a secret society of athletic female ninjas and gymnasts to be used as breeding stock. I felt so USED. I still suffer anxiety attacks and nightmares at the overuse of my facilities.

Terrible the anxiety that such sexual objectification must have caused you. Reminds me of Monty Python:

Alright Mike, happy hour is over.
Time to go outside and work.
Guys, he'll be back after all his chores are done.

My first month here in WA. I heard about a gun show in Puyallup that weekend. I looked up online as hard as it was 20 plus years ago. Found out about the Puyallup fairgrounds. I made it in pouring rain to the fairgrounds and I saw it was open!! I went by and saw lots of women going to and fro with handbags. I got closer and I saw it was the embroidery show, not the gun show.

But I learned one life lesson, if you want women, it is easier to go where men are in the minority, e.g. nursing, education, etc.

If I were a woman, I would frequent gun shows as much as I could, especially since men start becoming the minority after 25 years of age, and the odds are not in women's favor. If you don't like that genre, go hi tech, sports wherever men are a clear majority.

If you are a man or a woman, also try to be presentable, i.e. lose weight. I recently got too fat and I have been water fasting every Saturday for about two mos. and have lost 15 pounds so far. With a little exercise. I hate being fat more than I like food so choose appropriately.

Jackass, that looked like solid advice all the way through that. :plusone:
