Fuck, fuck, fuck.....
I feel YOUR pain, having been in close to same situation(no burning) many years ago....
Through that experience, I also found that a woman has much more resilience an faith than any man has, or ever will. I have no doubt the healing of both of the scars, physical/emotional, continue unabated.
An yet......the toll on the man is a huge an heavy burden filled with regret and anger when his duty is to protect his family, at all cost.
An kids, children...crap man that has to be hard. My kids were pertnear adults so they understood a bit more than a younger child, and yet fully expected dad/husband to be the protector and handle justice as the court system is a friggin joke.
I lost it, I begged the prosecutor, it went to arbitration.... without details, justice served.
New normal takes on a whole new meaning. Hope you both keep your head high an proud.

Katie had a teleconference with Sen. Jerry Moran of Kansas today. She said it went well and he's willing to assist. Hoping that this is just the beginning to building a broader, hopefully bipartisan coalition in both chambers of Congress.
