Walmart CEO Lectures President Trump on Diversity

Respect for the individual is one of our core beliefs at Walmart. And the role we play in communities around the country to build a more diverse and inclusive society is more critical than ever as the tragic events in Charlottesville over the weekend painfully reminded us. Our prayers are with the victims and their families.

As we watched the events and the response from President Trump over the weekend, we too felt that he missed a critical opportunity to help bring our country together by unequivocally rejecting the appalling actions of white supremacists. His remarks today were a step in the right direction and we need that clarity and consistency in the future.

Our country is facing some very difficult issues that require our elected officials, business leaders and community-based organizations to work together. Representing a company with the largest and one of the most diverse groups of associates in the U.S., and an even more diverse customer base of tens of millions of customers, we believe we should stay engaged to try to influence decisions in a positive way and help bring people together. I will continue to strongly advocate on behalf of our associates and customers, and urge our elected officials to do their part to promote a more just, tolerant and diverse society.

I rarely agree with WalMart, but that is a pretty damn good message.

Walmart has a conflict of interest given how much ANTIFA/BLM merchandise they sell.

All hate groups are bad.

Still waiting to hear Perez, Ellison, Pelosi or Herself condemn:
ANTIFA
BLM
La Raza
CAIR

etc.

Let me know when they do. Last time I checked they supported those groups and used them for organizing.

Hmm...I don't seem to recall the CEO releasing a similar statement when the Divider-in-Chief #44 "missed a critical opportunity to help bring our country together by unequivocally rejecting the appalling actions of white supremacists BLM rioters." I'm not even a fan of President Trump, but I know Trump Derangement System when I see it. This is just more of the same.

How about we start with this....

People quit calling others "fascist" when they don't even know the meaning of the word?

How about we quit calling people racist who are not actually racist???

How about we quit making up names (alt right) to slander people with??

How about we learn how to be graceful losers?

How about we live and let live?

How about we live by the Golden Rule?

I am so sick of this name calling bullshit, mud slinging and violence coming from the left....enough already!

It would be nice if people actually took those things to heart.

Now that I think of it walfart doesn't care about anyone. They don't care about their employees because they give them a shit wage, they don't care about customers because it takes 15 minutes to check out because the cashiers are slow as hell, and they don't care about the people that work in their sweatshops pumping out clothes for them. They care about money coming in. Thats it.

They are butt hurt over what Trump is trying to do with China, I bet you that.

Wal Mart, whose business model in many areas is to pay their employees as low of a wage so they can also get some government assistance? Also working off the clock?
