I think JB's point was that the important part of this story is that worthless human beings exist in both legal and illegal status.
So why do we shine a spotlight on the immigration status as if that were the actual source of the perversion?

This doesn't tell us anything about the rapists who never get caught, are never reported.
I was trying to find a breakdown of rapist/pedophiles broken down by [illegal alien/ US citizen]... Alpine's link from ayer ( thehill.com/blogs/pundits-blog/crime/329589-the-truth-about-crime-illegal-immigrants-and-sanctuary-cities ) didn't quite give me the data I was looking for.

To my way of thinking, shining a light on the immigration status actually decreases future success in catching criminals like this.
We absolutely hate the rapist so much that we are hell bent on trying to make sure it never happens again. So it looks to me like we are seizing on an "easy" scapegoat of illegal alien status and burning all illegal aliens at the stake, while our WASP neighbors or Catholic priests continue to have their way with little children.

There are some here who seem to blame so much of our nation's problems on illegal immigration that any talk that seems to hate illegal immigration less than they do is treated akin to treason. I assure you that I am not treasonous. Nor am I a bleeding heart softie.
When two crimes are committed, I subjectively weigh their importance and some crimes hit me so hard that I'd give up my own life for a decent chance to stick a knife in the temple of the perpetrator... Child and stranger rapists fall into that category.
There are other crimes that are silly beyond belief, and to which I strongly disagree with the law itself. I-594 is one such useless waste of everyone's time and money, and a clear (to me) violation against the Bill of Rights.
Illegal immigration falls between those two examples to me.

Singling out a hideous act that was committed by a minority or illegal is a basic ultra right wing tactic. PEOPLE commit these crimes. Illegals are people.

Furthermore.....It's lazy and pretty much racist to imply illegals are perverts. Perverts come from a very large pool. Some will be illegals. Some will be lawyers. Some will be school teachers.
