In the big picture there is a HUGE difference between a US Senator and a State Senator. State senators have been know to say WAY more crazy shit than US Senators. A lot of state senators are total clowns.
But anyone threatening the president or condoning assassination should be PUNISHED by the Secret Service AND LOSE THEIR POSITION.

Sounds like most of her state's D party is busily distancing themselves from her, denouncing her actions, and calling for her to resign. Even they can see she's gone around the bend.
No link handy but I'll dig one up to the article I read about it.

Saying something like this should be a career-ending move for anyone, but something tells me she's just building her resume for the DNC.
Trump Derangement Syndrome is an epidemic, to be sure. Mental health crisis, really. Makes the homeless problem and the opioid epidemic look tame. I hope the Democrats keep this up; they'll get smoked in the midterms. Although I'm not happy with the GOP, either.

And just what would happen to me if I said I hope that this senator gets assassinated?
I'm not.
Just wondering what would happen to me. And she's not even the president!

its the beginning of the end for trump. He didn't drain the swamp and instead filled his cabinet with them. MSM has done a great job of spreading lies and with Fox News moving to the left with the Jrs in charge of the company. There is no place for middle of row americans that are not alt right or antifa left to get real news on TV and if you repeat something enough people start to believe it no matter how obvious the lie is...like the CNN talking heads saying ISIS is learning terror from the Nazi's in Charlottesville.

You might not like him, but he is still the President of the United States of America. People need to get a grip on that and roll with it.
I am just ready for Football season and you can keep all the politics in a box as far as I am concerned until he next election.

They just can't help themselves but put a "Oh poor MB" slant on this shit every chance they get,
She has been an outspoken activist while in the Legislature. She was a prominent voice during the protests in Ferguson, Missouri, after the police killing of Michael Brown, a black 18-year-old resident who was unarmed when fatally shot by an officer in 2014.

I could care less who stands and who doesn't for the National Anthem. I do. YOU do what you want.
This is another one of those hypocrite soap boxes that people like. The same folks pounding their chests about the 1st amendment and then getting their kilts in cluster over someone who doesn't stand for the anthem. Its sort of a selective application of rights I guess. Sort of like how I think the Nazi protesters could be shot and I wouldn't care. But it is their right to protest. What ya gonna do?

Lighten up, that would be a start.
Spread it around, and make your local environment a better place to be - people gravitate towards the positive.

I will be equally happy to eat all the bacon, and smoke all the cigars, and drink all the whiskey while spitting on the mat, and calling the cat a bastard.
Some times, a football 50 yard field goal velocity punt to the nuts is all the world understands.
