And if the woman had killed/injured someone. she would blame the store. She should be charged with public endangerment for her actions. Ignorance of the law is not a reasonable defense, and Stupidity shouldn't be either.

Firearms are a fact of life since the discovery of gunpowder.
It is an extremely useful invention and technology => (therefore)
FACTS and understanding of this technology should be taught as a requirement in all educational systems. Basic firearms training in both use and safe handling should be required in all educational systems, BAR NONE.

Welcome to the world after the invention of gunpowder. Deal with it correctly or suffer the natural consequences.
