I guess it's appropriate. In 1994, Kasich as a RINO representative was the final deciding vote on the Clinton "assault weapon ban" and as Governor Hickenlooper signed a lot of gun bans and accessory bans in Colorado.

It's not as if a bunch of democrats are going to vote for Kasich, so this is clearly designed to try and split votes from Trump and let the Democrat win. Kasich is such a RINO.

it is all about splitting the vote, just like Ross Perot.

This has potential to work for them. Here's why I think so: A good portion of the people who voted for Trump did so as a "Hail Mary" to try to fix a broken system. "We" wanted someone different, and thankfully the Democratic party put up probably the worst possible candidate in my lifetime, probably longer. She is so fake that Trump beat her. If Trump is held in check by the MSM and rebels in the Republican party (as well as the natural and expected resistance from the D's, then he will approach the next election with the appearance of having been beaten by the entrenched system.
This pairing of our two intrepid anti-2A chucklers will have an historic appeal for its "bipartisanship". I just hope President Trump can break through his obstacles soon enough to quash this.

While I agree with most of what you wrote, our sitting president has to put a stop to this blue waffle of a media and the terrorist cells of the anti's this and that's or no one is going anywhere.
I'm not mad at anyone trying to get in the White House. What I am pissed at is the circus of the left as well as some on the right. I think he is trying, I really do. None of us could do any better considering what he is up against. No matter what Trump does, it is wrong. PERIOD!

My lip always curls like a really pissed off dog when I hear it too.

As much as I decry the Crime Family boss who was beaten last November, there are just way too many politicians who are oily greasy, dishonest say-anything-to-get-reelected... Fake people. I despise that type of person.
