 Using Citi Price Rewind for gun Purchases

I was wandering around arfcom and someone mentioned using credit card price protection to buy a gun from a local dealer and price match it to PSA. Curious if anyone else has tried this? Here's a link to one of the programs below:

Never tried it (have two Citi cards), but guns aren't on the prohibited list.
Might be better to have the local FFL price match.

Would certainly be easier, but most won't match PSA without including the transfer cost if at all.
