It was reported to HPD, FBI, etc and he deleted his account.
I don't know either way. He deleted his own account? Stupid shit, NTL.

What does a rain gauge that can measure >52" look like? Or do you have to keep dumping it out? I built one when I was a kid that was a test tube with a partial ruler next to it.
They are also talking about dams, roads, and bridges failing.
Damn, glad my house is on a small hill.
"A preliminary report from a rain gauge on the Cedar Bayou, east of Highlands, Texas, reported 51.88 inches of rain as of 3 p.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service."

Houston Mayor just declared a 10-5 curfew. Texas is not the state where you want to get caught stealing shit.
"Houston's mayor imposed a city curfew on Tuesday evening from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Mayor Sylvester Turner said it's aimed to prevent property crimes at evacuated homes in city limits.

Turner said he did not want flood victims concerned about home break-ins while they are displaced.

Those look like the Amtracks we had in the early 80's. Hope they fixed the problems with them leaking/sinking.

Should just light them up like that Guardsman did in the movie 'Earthquake'.
Acevedo said his officers arrested a crew of people with guns robbing members of our community Monday night. They found them after a pursuit and took them into custody. He said officers also caught three looters at a Game Stop Monday night.
"People displaced or harmed in this storm are not going to be easy prey," Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg said. Burglarizing a home would normally bring a penalty of two to 20 years in prison, but now brings five years to life. "This is the state of Texas. We are a welcoming city, but we are not going to tolerate people victimizing others," Acevedo said.

The thing that pisses me off in these situations is the price gouging. Unnecessary, and it causes people to make tough choices in a tough situation when the grand scheme shouldn't require this. If this was an all of a sudden global issue then that is a situation changer. But when a $4.00 case of water is being marked up to $40.00 that is wrong.
On a side note this is a prime example of how to prep and what to prep for in your given area. How set are you for a major disaster?

Dude.
At retail, a bottle of water is $1.50.... Desani or whatever the shit..
What's $1.50 X24 or $1.50 x32 or whatever?
This explains your $40 case of water..
If it were prepacked Costco water that costs $3/case, then we can talk....

They knew it was going to rain heavy 3 days BEFORE it hit land, and once it hit they knew it was going to be bad. All the weather forecasters predicted 50+ inches in just a couple of days. Houston mayor said to shelter in place...... Have a couple of Army buddies there, the mayor is heavily on the shit list.

That's how the retards in power in Tejas roll. They know shit is going to hit the fan and do absolutely nothing about it beforehand. It's always like that when they know they're about to get hit real fucking hard with a snow/ice storm. Their view is "God put it there. God will remove it when He wants!" I'm so glad to be done with the idiocy of that state.
