Drudge just reported that over 100,000 homes are either damaged or completely destroyed.
Try to wrap your head around that.
Then send some money to a quality charity that will use the money designated for Hurricane Harvey to those actual victims.
It is my understanding the Red Cross refuses to do this, they pour all the money into a national pot and then decide how much goes to a specific action. They were roundly criticized for their accounting of funds after Hurricane Sandy. Sad, but true.
Salvation Army, Samaritan's Purse (son of Rev. Billy Graham, Franklin Graham runs it) are two good ones. There are others.
I saw where JJ Watt, NFL superstar of the Houston Texans, has a GoFundMe page that had a goal of $1 million when it started on Sunday. It is now $10 million and climbing. He said all will go to the people in the area that are hurting.
Donate some money to a good organization, these people need it. And you will feel better after you do. Trust me.
