Thanks for all the input fellas.

I guess once I start unloading the trunks and safes we'll see what we really have.
Hell, most could be rust buckets, or maybe Norm was into oiling the hell out of everything?

We'll see soon.

Boy, that's a big no shit Huh?

Check out a Model 65 in 218 Bee.....~$4k

Problem with what the OP has is if youre not well versed in all old guns you could loose thousands in a sale.

Shit Marlin Levers are getting good money now a days...and they have some wierd options that Winchester 94's dont have that are extremely valuable

Buddy of mine bought a old Marlin 22lr a couple years ago that had a weird ghost ring flip factory front sight on it...ended up the sight was worth more than the gun.

Hey no need to get snarky

I am sure sportsdad60 knows it too, but not everyone on the board does...

I will do that as long as I don't get PM's saying "I am willing to pay you this" or "That"...

It's going to be all or none for sale. After I get my picks.

Norm's estimates (which are pretty close, considering it was 2010 when he assessed his collection) were $71,000.00
Do I hear $72k unseen? :p

I have a decently long leash - but If I bid $70K and you accepted I would be dead meat. Worse - no space!!! BUT damn, it is tempting!!

I wouldn't expect a check until I validated all firearms are accounted for and photographs sent.
;)
Plus, I am picking some out of the collection, to the tune of $3000.

Where do you want your ashes scattered? Home depot aisle? Girly dance club off of Hwy 7 at the 512 exit?
