N Korea has been working on nuclear weapons development since at least the 80's but everyone has been kicking that can down the road and leaving it for the next guy to figure out.

I read through that, I think they'd be underestimating Trump. It's likely our interceptor tech has improved in the last 10 years. Also, if we had enough subs and destroyers with sufficient tomahawks we could take out all 24k conventional artillery pieces around Seoul simultaneously.
