This kind of smoke sucks, but I'll take it over volcanic ash any day. Any damn day.

Prayers for the firefighters in the midst of it and the homeowners worried they may lose everything because of it.

I wonder if Gov. Jay Putzlee has our name on the waiting list for the 747 yet, or if he is still waiting for Bob Ferguson to figure out if he can sue the owner for using it to save lives and property first.

HEY GOVERNOR (taps mic)! Can you have one of your aids teach you how to dial a telephone please? If you aren't up to it, just have them dial it for you.

Since he declared a state of emergency, maybe he should be turning all of his attention to getting one of the biggest tools up and running here. Maybe Bob Ferguson can sue the federal government to get the aircraft here and moving since Dreamers are at risk. These two have time for everything else, why not this?

I just opened up the house to cool it off..... wondering at what point my smoke detectors are going to go off?????
