I started hearing about this on either Monday or Tuesday. Then I read that it would hit Florida on Saturday or Sunday. I thought it would arrive by Wednesday.

I'm going to bet that it's much less crazy than anticipated. It'll slow down, mellow out, won't hit until Monday, and it'll just be a storm, not the Apocalypse.

Interestingly, I saw where Canadia [I say it that way] sent supplies in for relief in TX.

Lots of good people on Zello. I have been listening to multiple groups form up from complete strangers to help get people prepared and guide them to places where they can find gas,plywood,water,etc. The "Gas Buddy" app is the #1 app being used to locate fuel right now. One of the biggest concerns from the general population is pets. Request for info on what to do with pets came in every 15 minutes all afternoon long until 2AM. Florida has over 60 pet disaster resources aaaand,.....WA has 1.

That Zello app really lets you get a good feel for the mentality of the general population.
There where looting channels created for the purpose of organized looting in the evacuation. Those channels were VERY active and organized. They were using maps and gathered as much info as they could to loot.
Fake calls for help were made throughout the day and a metric fuck-ton of trolls rolled through the entire time.
It may be time to dust off a couple of pallets of emergency Darwin awards.
