Maybe they hire blind cops now too.
The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York has upheld the common practice of not hiring police applicants with a high IQ. This is true, I had a couple of friends turned down for this very reason....they were told that it's because people with a higher IQ tend to leave law enforcement after so many years, and they don't want to waste the training, and then lose the experience. |
