http://www.breitbart.com/big-government ... ciprocity/National reciprocity legislation—H.R. 38—would treat concealed carry permits like driver’s licenses, making a permit from one state valid in the other 49. Massie is the sponsor of H.R. 2909, which covers a blind spot in the national reciprocity legislation by mandating that Washington DC recognize concealed carry permits from all 50 states.
H.R. 38 was introduced in Congress on January 3, 2017, and HR 2909 was introduced in June, following the attack on GOP Congressmen at Congressional Baseball Practice. But both bills are currently languishing in Congress.
Mark Walters asked Massie about the lack of movement on national reciprocity, and Massie said, “The Speaker told me he didn’t think the timing was right.” An exasperated Massie then added, “But this is the exact time to bring this bill. So it is frustrating for me.”
Another example of why RINO-Ryan is not pro-2A.
We must drag him, kicking and screaming, with a majority of reps demanding that this civil right be expanded across the US.
If every state must honor all marriage certificates from every other state, then carry rights damn sure better be honored too.
Call your rep. Call Paul Ryan's office (in his capacity as Speaker he represents all Americans).
Email.
Snail mail.
We need a torrent of communication that gun owners elected this Congress and this President to finally GET THIS DONE.

I oppose national reciprocity on the basis that it affirms the need for a permit to exercise your right. In other words, there is infringement "baked in". I'd much rather see Congress pass a national constitutional carry law.

It's pretty upfront with his gun grabbing. Needs to go.

I agree I'd rather see national constitutional carry. But, would you vote against national Concealed Pistol reciprocity?

This batch of Congressional Republicans has accomplished exactly jack diddly squat since President Trump's election. Time for a house cleaning in the 2018 primaries so we can bring in conservatives with some spine and a can-do attitude who can eliminate the legislative filibuster in the Senate and reform the review process for nominees to the federal judiciary.
Basically it's completely lame there has been exactly no movement on Obamacare repeal, tax reform, or any 2A legislation now that we have control of both houses of Congress and The White House. If not now, then when exactly will the time be right?

It will NEVER happen. Why would Hawaii or NYC allow someone visiting from another state to carry a gun concealed when they won't allow their own residents to carry one?

I for one, do not welcome getting shitty "classes" and yearly permit renewals for several hundred dollars being shoved down my throat.
GauranfuckinTEE that is what we get if we ever got reciprocity.
And no shit, all the Rs currently in power are RINOs. President, VP, PPT, Speaker.

Point being those states have terrible laws enacted by liberal nannies and should not be allowed to override individual rights.

Those states and cities must be brought into compliance.
