 Apparently, I wasn't imagining things when I kept seeing the price of avacados going through the roof... Demand has increased substantially, and the crop yield this year has been pretty shit, half of what it normally is, leading to higher prices of avocados. CNN says the popularity of guacamole has a large part to play. The average wholesale case of avocados went from less than $35 in January to almost $85 today, higher than its ever been, and experts say it will go even higher.. Fuck.
