I know most of our members are further south, but if you live or have friends/family near Arlington, be aware that a brush fire ignited maybe an hour or 2 ago outside of town and has consumed about 6 acres at this point. DNR says it's moving into the nearby timber and SCSO is already warning nearby residents to be ready to evacuate. The fire is a bit northeast of the junction of Arlington Heights Rd and Jordan Rd. If you're near Maranatha Way, you might be affected.

Nothing scarier than a wild fire coming towards your house..

That lovely record breaking rainy water all winter is also the reason why we haven't been required to limit our water usage due to a drought either.

betting it was kids and firecrackers again, kind of an awkward spot to start
