Does anybody have any information on the trains from Lakewood to Safeco Field. We are going to catch the Eagles show this Saturday and are tired of driving from Olympia to Seattle dealing with the $50 parking fees, traffic and general asshattery during events such as this.
My google-foo is weak & the website is of no help to me. (meaning I do not get the answers I need & cannot call due to my hearing impairment)

Thanks in advance. Jim Sr.

Be aware if you are carrying they will likely wand/metal-detect and even if you have a valid CPL they will deny you entry (in violation of the RCW) via the bastardized Sequim decision.

They also have no storage so without a car nearby you won't have anywhere to store your carry weapon.

MY SON AND i TAKE THE BUS FROM THE tACOMA dOME station TO sAFECO ETC...

Capllock Ha

Its bus #594 hard to forget...I'm almost positive it starts and ends at the Lakewood station..theyll run a late bus not on the Bus Schedule from the stadium after a major event like the M's or Supercross. Theres a Pierce Transit car thats at the stop that sees if theres a needed Bus. Never been left without a ride home. Have always hustled to the stop directly after the Event though...so don't fart around. The walk from the stop to each field is short.

Ill never drive to the fields again. Been Busing it for a couple years now.

$3 each person each way.

I've always driven to the Seatac or Tukwilla light rail station and just taken the train. Drop off at Stadium or International, easy.

Angle Lake station opened a few months ago. South of the airport, it is the southernmost station now open.

Hwy 99 and South 200th St exit off of I-5.

The light rail train runs until 12:45am or so, and is the best choice if you are willing to drive to the station.

It is by far the best way to go, if you miss one light rail, just catch the next one, they go off about every 8 minutes.

The trains work well. Tukwila to Safeco field is a breeze via rail.

When I worked at Safeco I took the bus from downtown Tacoma. Some times I had to work later a x would catch the last bus out of seattle, it sucked there were crackheads and sketchy ass people everywhere. Itscthe best wa6 to get up there.

reconsider going to any football game until the "NFL" respects our flag. Social media is calling for a nation wide ban on watching, going to, or recording any game. Plus a boycot on all NFL products and all NFL sponsors.

Since the Seattle sports stadiums have been refusing to honor our 2nd Amendment and WA Section 24 rights I have refused to ever set foot in them.

Besides, the stadium district is dangerous, it seems insane to walk around down there without carrying for protection. Anyone who doubts that need only look to the myriads assaults, muggings, rapings and murders.

Yawn. :ROFLMAO: There is another thread for your opinion, so hop off your soap box. He's looking for something else specifically.

Back to the topic, as others have said the Angle Lake station is the way to go. Its about 2 miles off I5 and is about a 40 minute ride right to the stadiums. I took this to the Hawks vs Niners game, and for $6 round trip you cant go wrong.

Way to take a stand, buddy! You show them!

Like they give a flying fuck.

The bus is also a good option. From just about anywhere.
