I was reminded today that in the primary, Moore came within a few thousand votes of all of the Democrat challengers combined.

But the other R, Luther Strange, also got about 90% of the votes of the Democrats.

So the total vote in the primary was about 2-1 Republican.

Alabama is staying Red, unless there are 39 year old pictures.

Remember, Moore ran at least 4 times for public office, and zero, ziltch, nada, of this "scandal" was even hinted.

And I don't even particularly like Moore. I always thought Strange was a fine Senator, and bent over backwards to vote any way Trump wanted him to vote.

But this Moore smear is so very, very low.


Ironic is that in 2006, a then 39 year old Gavin Newsome, then mayor of SF, was seen drinking with a 19 year old college student on a date. There are articles referring to it. Where was CNN with the moral outrage then?

- In the first 24 hours after this story broke, the candidate for Senate was covered by ABCNBCCBS, 24 minutes, 36 seconds, according to Fox News Tonight.

- From Sept 6 until November 10, over two months, the Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) corruption trial, an EXISTING US Senator on trial for multiple corruption charges, payoffs, stealing government funds, and more, got a TOTAL OF 2 MINUTES, 10 SECONDS.

Which is the bigger news?

- An existing Senator on trial for months for massive corruption that most think he will be found guilty, or

- a Senate candidate who has a 40 year track record of public service, in addition to 2 tours in the military, and has zero rumors or accusers of anything, until 24 hours ago. A very biased paper who supports his Democrat opponent, the Washington Post, blindsided him just a few weeks before the a very important election with big national consequences.

I'm not trying to defend Moore, but geezuz, what a joke.

The story already has more holes than a colander. One of the women has 3 divorces, 3 bankruptcies, and has done a lot of drugs for years. You will hear NONE of this on the mainstream news, much less the Corrupt News Network.

Different rules for people in the UK maybe but it is disturbing to think anyone would believe you need to prove your innocence.

It seems as if there is a lot going on that is probably criminal but I agree allegations do not mean someone is guilty. Why should Judge Moore drop out unless he either admits to it or it is proven to be true. Of course anything McCain says I immediately ignore. The problem is Moore beat out the RINO backed candidate and this seems like odd timing, perhaps political payback from McConnell. While others had the decency to say "if true", McCain just wants Moore to step aside, whether guilty or not but McCain doesn't care about what is right.
