We have any WaGunners who have an in at Good Chevy in Renton? Going up there tomorrow to look at a new ride. As a secondary, how about Larson Cadillac in Fife? They have a similar vehicle if the Renton one doesn't pan out.
I know we have quite a few people here who work at various dealers.

We looked at a GMC Acadia Denali at Good last summer, which happened to be our first stop that day. Most dealerships are pushy, but the rep I had the pleasure of dealing with was over the top pushy. When we came back from the test drive, there happened to be a new Camaro parked behind my truck just enough so I couldn't leave. We spent more time waiting for them to move that damn car, than the entire time of the test drive. All the while he kept trying to sell me on this rig and others.
I cant speak about the entire dealership, but this rep left a bad taste with us.

When my fiancee and I were shopping for new cars for each of us, this particular place was really pushy. So were all of the Walker places.

If they ever pull those tactics on you at a dealership just get in your truck start it up and say "no, it's cool I think I can make it" when you clearly can't. Sending a brand new car off to repair is a huge pain in the ass for a dealership. Bet that lights a fire under their ass to move the car.
I don't know of any GM dealers that are not over the top pushy. Whatever you do, do NOT give them your keys to your current vehicle, even if its a trade in. Your car will be gone long enough to keep you at their table.
I wish I knew someone to refer you to, but most American car dealerships do not retain sales people for long.

Go have fun with them, the pushier they are the more fun you can have. Just remember, you are in control at all times. If you dont like the sales rep for whatever reason, tell him, I am done working with you I want a different sales person. If they refuse just walk out. And you should walk out at least 3 times during the negotiation. This only works if the vehicle is not a limited edition or in super high demand. I didn't get to have any fun when I bought my last vehicle. They do not deal on Tacoma's, even used ones and it was listed at a fair price for a dealership already.
My wife is up for a new (or new to her car), I can't wait.

Thanks guys. I actually enjoy the art of making a deal. I'm in a solid position to be able to walk and not shed a tear. I have learned that if I come in prepared, things go much smoother. I have already been pre-approved for the small loan I'll need, have $$ in the bank for a sizable down payment and know exactly what I demand for trade value. I don't give dealerships much wiggle room, I tell them the price, they have ONCE chance to say yes or no, then I move on.

#1 rule...dont let them talk about the car price in monthly payments. This is the one way they trick people. "Oh, $400 a month is too much, what if I told you that I can get you in this car for $325!" Only problem is they just extend you loan another year or two in fact increasing the total cost of the car due to more interest.

No good will come of pulling into Larson. I work 4 miles from them and when I needed work on my caddy I drove to Renton after all the horror stories I heard form other local caddy owners...

Member "Whitebread" worked at Good, don't know if he's still around though. I tried to work with Good but ended up buying at Bellevue Chevrolet of all places. I knew what i wanted, i knew it was a 20% off Program Vehicle and i knew the one i wanted was at Everett Chevrolet. After getting a brief runaround i walked. Got a call the next day from the sales manager and the deal was done with 7k off the sticker. The Salesman was an idiot, but the manager took care of me and they brought the Truck from Everett. Hell, the salesman kept calling every couple months after i bought, he couldn't even remember i had done that. Dan, did you look into Sunset Chevrolet? That would have been my next stop.

The wife and I have bought our last 3 vehicles from Rairdons Nissan in Auburn, no BS from those guys. I know Rairdons have a dealership in Kirkland as well.
