You ran the VIN right? You're paying for it one way or another. If they overvalued the trade in they hosed you on the price of the vehicle...
Ultimately though, as long as you're happy, that's all that matters.

Ultimately though, as long as you're happy, that's all that matters. Don't be a Buzz Killer TW, if the Wife is happy, Dan is happy. We all know dealerships will Fuck you one way or another, but if you walk away feeling good about it then it didn't hurt, right?

Yes I ran the VIN. Yes I know the history. Yes I have a pretty good guess at what the dealership made. And they made a lot, as they bought it for a hell of a deal. But I also bought it for a hell of a deal.
We all made money and We both walked away happy. It doesn’t always have to be about destroying the opponent (but it is fun).

TW don’t be a Debbie downer. I’m pretty sure Dan had a pretty good understanding on how dealerships work

Apparently everyone is reading the first sentence without reading the last.. Quote: Ultimately though, as long as you're happy, that's all that matters.

No. I just read the negativity as a whole. Regardless of one sentence

Good Chevrolet is great. I've bought two trucks there. Great prices. Any dealership is going to be "pushy". They have a family to feed. Just set aside 4 hours like you should at any to buy one. Before you go in know what you want to spend. There competitive and sell on volume.

Massivedesign wrote: Yup, got it at Good. Honestly the process was fairly painless. They offered me WAY more for my trade than I was expecting, so the negotiations went very, very easy as they were already asking a pretty killer price for the rig. The hardest part was waiting for my turn to sign paperwork because they were super busy.
Here's the crazy part.. My trade, that they offered too much for... They didn't even look at it really... Salesman got inside, looked at odometer, took pics and closed the door. Didn't start it, didn't look under the hood.. nothing. My keys stayed IN MY POCKET the entire time. Only when I was getting in my new rig did I ASK HIM, if he wanted my keys lol.
ProTip: If you see a 2007 Tahoe at Good Chevy, fix the radiator leak and get the tranny serviced before purchasing..... Sounds like he was too excited to make a sale to remember what he was supposed to do.. Maybe a new guy? Either way good news and grats on the new rig!
