https://www.seattlepi.com/seattlenews/article/Seafair-blue-angels-seattle-cost-13123719.phpExpensive to tax payers, noisy, the dogs, people with ptsd triggered, display of military machismo. Those with kids. Please don't let them go this route. Raise some true Americans.

And Seattle and surrounding cities do not reap the benefits of tourism brought in by the Blue Angels at the cost of the Federal Government.

Reminds me of when a neighborhood group tried to stop the helicopter life flights to Seattle Children's Hospital, or at least limit the hours due to noise complaints. "Sorry kid, you're probably going to die. We get big fines for flying at night. We can try waiting until 9AM, see if you can hang on until then."

they're, not their. you'd think someone would proof read.
I'm guessing the 118,000 people associated with Navy Region Northwest provide more than $1.2M to the Seattle Economy, and federal tax coffers, over the course of the year.

"Military veterans with PTSD could experience some triggering from the show...."
I don't associate the word "triggered" with our veterans.

The sounds of Freedom brings big money to the region.

These people who piss and moan about the Blue Angels noise should just schedule a visit to Portland while the show is on. Even better, just stay there.
Ever since I was a kid I've realized that a) the Blue Angels is a great recruiting tool for Naval Air; b} all flying these pilots do is not a waste. Just more training hours, all the while they are entertaining the taxpayers.
Apparently any time people enjoy themselves while it's costing the government money, it's a terrible waste.
To me, providing Secret Service protection to the Clinton family is a real waste.

Everything the Blues Angles do (I think) is required by all pilots in the Navy. Just like you said, "just more training". The only plane I really complain about is the Harrier. Had one 'freeze' overhead one time. Jeezus they are loud.

I don't associate the word "triggered" with our veterans. furthermore, any vets here that are having their PTSD "triggered" by the Blue Angels? Otherwise I think they're just speaking out of their ass with that statement.

Oh it's waaaaaaay too late for that. True American families left Seattle around the late 80's early 90's sans a few scattered here and there like the majority on this board. When I moved here at age 18 (1979), it was a republican political party controlling the state, and about every 6th hat worn on a hot day in Seattle was a cowboy hat of some sort. They were in the black for spending. Surplus state spending was spoken about on the evening local news. We moved out of King County intentionally because of the taxes and the politics in 1997. Raised our kids in a more conservative unincorporated Pierce county. And they turned out to be all right. Times....they are a changin'....not for the better.
