So there's at least one verifiable guy who says non-professional fireworks use should be banned so his PTSD isn't set off. Dunno how he feels about air shows.

Love Seafair weekend. Absolutely love the Blue Angels, but the other planes--especially Fat Albert and the A-10 Warthogs--send me and the boys shrieking outside in excitement. Nothing brings out the eight-year-old version of Jennifer faster than the sound of those engines.
I tend to think that the whiners are those who didn't grow up here and don't understand how Seafair, and the Angels, are a part of the societal fabric.
Agree completely. Unfortunately, too many that have moved here in the last decade have little interest for our history, and want to press their political beliefs on us. Regardless if we want the beliefs. You will be MADE to understand! Not.

The USN should tell Seattle to eff off and have a free air show at McChord.
Navy and the Army/Air-Force don't get along too well. They should just officially move it to Kitsap Penn., but still do it over the sound between them and Seattle.
What would be great would be a airshow duel between the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds.

As I was driving through Seattle in my one ton dually diesel Silverado on my way to Precision Shooter to pick up reloading supplies I saw the Blue Angels flying around. I didn't realize I was supposed to be triggered. Maybe it was my concealed pistol that kept me calm as a Hindu cow, but I guess it could have also been the years of deployed time living right next to a flight line while jets took off every 30 minutes or so. Either way I'll be sure to freak the f@#$ out next time I hear a jet. Thanks for the heads up Seattle people.

I had never been to that store so I wanted to check it out and give them some business. It was worth the drive, but I'll probably order my supplies online from now on.

Found some great cockpit footage of the Blue Angels at Seafair. Irritating music notwithstanding, does a great job showing how strenuous many of these maneuvers are for the pilots.
