Why didn't the story of how Cantwell was sleeping around with someone else's married man not make bigger headlines.

I loved Cantdowells statement in the voters guide for community service. 'She is an avid outdoorswoman and likes climbing mountains'.

Ok so that's community service how?

Primary numbers can be slightly deceiving. I was behind my goal a bit but I pegged myself at 37% and got 32% ... it will probably change a bit in my favor but not by much.

That Being said... let's look at my numbers vs the last guy who ran....

My Campaign
Kickoff - Officially kicked off my campaign 4 days ago, did this on purpose because I really needed to finish a project first and AppLE needed to be in Alpha1
Total money spent - about 2,000 USD so far
Doors knocked - about 50
Total contributions - 250 USD
Staff - Me and my wife (yeah my website, all the graphics, and all the writting is done by me, including setting up and coding on AppLE, oh and still working on projects)
Primary - 32% - 35% projected

The last Opponent
Kickoff - May
Total money spent - 25,000 at that time (67,000 total)
Doors knocked - 2500 (if I recall)
Total contributions - about 50,000 at that point
Staff - 6 including a Manager
Primary - 37%

From what I can tell, it was low republican turnout statewide... I think we may just be seeing the effects of political lack of interest due to having a republican in office and a majority in the House and Senate.

But at the state level we have ALOT to lose. So we have 3 months to get the R's to send that ballot in, and I will work on our good friends on the D side that aren't crazy enough to tax themselves out of their own state, give up thier god given rights, and vote themselves into a authoritarian government.

All that being said, in all honesty statewide, if we don't move our buts... we won't be enjoying the level of rights we have today on JAN 2019

I will never understand the apathy of so many people. It literally could not be easier to vote. It's 15 minutes and free. Voting participation should be nearly 100%.

Just like 594, it was almost all King/Pierce county.

And with mail in balloting, there is NO excuse not to vote.

It's simple...Trump Derangement Syndrome has energized the Democrats while Republicans have grown complacent after winning the presidency. That's why more of those "red" counties didn't go for Hutchison; Republican turnout was too low.

I want to clarify: In WA the top 2 candidates will be on the ballot regardless of party right?
