Have you ever looked at Care Credit?
Its a credit line to be used at Vet offices, in which it is interest free for 6 months if the amount is over $200. I used them when my puppy needed to see a Neurologist.

We have a credit line with them already to pay for the initial CT scan that was in the $3000 range.

vets said the cancer moved into his lungs now so at this point, were looking at 6 months w/o treatment and a year with. the treatments changed in the amount of doses tyrs getting from 18 small doses to 4 big doses of radiation with the added bonus of pilling him with chemo drugs for the lungs. The cost is also been cut in half with the different style of treatment. so im hoping we can get that year out of him.
he started his first session yesterday and was a little on the loopy side with the anesthesia. at the end of this week ill be doing the name drawing for the ar-10 for the folks that have donated. thanks again guys.

he started his first session yesterday and was a little on the loopy side with the anesthesia. at the end of this week ill be doing the name drawing for the ar-10 for the folks that have donated. thanks again guys. At this point, you should seriously be considering palliative care--pain control without therapeutic advantages. To each their own, but if the cancer has metastatized already, and your vet is telling you that throwing money at aggressive chemotherapy and surgical measures will only buy you mayyybe a year, it's time to consider how much suffering the cat will go through to satisfy your need to feel like you're doing something. Do you really want that extra year so badly that you're willing to allow the kitty to suffer to maybe reach that extra year? This is blunt, I know, but at this point, it's not about the cat--it's about you. Pets are incapable of understanding that the pain and suffering they are going through is for a good end--a good end that may well not come in your cats case. Please stop therapeutic measures and give him peace and an escape from pain in his last months. It helps to try and remember that the one final grace we as pet owners can give our pets is a graceful exit from this world to the next. Be a good pet owner.

I thought it was when you reach your goal or with in $1000 of your goal (per the terms on the first post)? Your goal has not reached that point and if you do the drawing early my in for 2 count goes back to you. However, if you make your goal and do the drawing then my original post still applies. Sorry I am a follow the rules guy. More sorry to hear the turn of events for your kitty.
