WTF?

https://www.sfgate.com/crime/article/Eric-Clanton-takes-3-year-probation-deal-in-13142123.php

You'll recall this was a college professor that used a metal bike lock to assault people, NOT defend himself, outright attack people.

Well, he was charged with 4 counts of assault with a deadly weapon; felonies.

The prosecutor DROPPED the felonies, if he plead no contest to ONE misdemeanor assault charge, which he did, and got 3 years probation.

So, the dude basically hit people over the head with a bat, and gets 1 misdemeanor charge and no jail time.

Expect Antifa to see this and expect the same preferential treatment, which means increased violent attacks.

Fuck this POS prosecutor...

Ridiculous. Should have gotten some jail time at least and a felony conviction.

Yeah, that's some bullshit. I remember seeing that . . . he was outright trying to kill and maim people.

Prosecutors are some of the biggest flaws in our justice system. Take a look at Dan satterberg and how he let off the tuba man killer on the extra gun charge for his second murder. Take a look at what satterberg did with the peace Circle killer even after his previous record of violent crimes and how he is continuing to use the quote-unquote diversion program despite the murder.

He should be "Locked" up.

It must have been our strict laws regarding firearms that made him use a bike lock.

Was it an assault lock? Combination or multiple removable keys?

I'd like to see those people get together and hit him up with a civil suit at the very least.

What a POS

IIRC 4chan did an incredible job of identifying antifa members.

Shit. This was on my radar and I have been eagerly waiting for the prosecution.
Sickening.
I surely hope that he meets justice in another venue.

I think (hope) we're about to see a whole new era of vigilantism.

Quoted for truth.

Conviction rate is a priority over justice, unless, you're running for re-election, then you take the highest profile case happening at the time, and go for it all, while quoting your 'conviction rate'....

Satterberg supposedly used to be a Republican...

You, sir, are a master of understatement.

Oh he will. The guilty may think they got off but a day before the Judge of the Universe is coming and a an accounting will be made by all.

On a separate note. As bad as the lack of prosecution here. I'm equally outraged that this prosecutor still has a job. The judge could have tossed out the plea deal and chose to let the travesty go on past. There once again were multiple people who failed to do their jobs and stand for justice. They let themselves down and /or out rigth violated the oath they took to preserve and protect. That's the real problem here.

it is only a matter of time before things start getting ugly. History will note the abuses the right had taken before we resorted to the violence that was brought upon us.......

“The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children and I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers"
