The question is essentially...

As far as I understand the laws, it is illegal for me to build something like that.

Am I correct?

If so, why can they build it and sell it without a stamp or anything, and I can't build one?

You can build one . . . as long as the receiver was never on a shotgun, as legally defined. You need to use a virgin receiver.

Pistol grip only models are what you seek. I built mine before they were widely commercially available, cost a lot more than buying one from PSA :ROFLMAO:
