Wouldn't it be refreshing to live in a state that defends our rights instead of always attacking them? Not all states suck. I would like to be proud of my state. That's why I'll be changing my residency soon. To a red state. LA is high on the list. Or MS. Or AL. Or TX. Free states.

I'm on the verge of fleeing too... I'm trying to stay, hoping the SCOTUS stomps down these constant attacks on freedom. It would alleviate a lot of problems.

I'm also tired of apathetic WA citizens not caring and not voting and letting the leftists keep taking our gun rights, and voting in more leftists. I just do NOT understand the mentality in these leftists states. WHY would you want the government to have MORE control over you, business, more taxes, more oppression, less freedom?

I'm trying to stick it out and hoping WA can be saved with some federal intervention, like pro-Constitutional judges, pro gun laws, etc.

I tried sticking it out, but I couldn't turn down the job. I still have my house, and plan on returning (hopefully).

TX is kind of a police state where the police have very little or no accountability for the bullshit they pull. People there are indoctrinated into believing the police are the greatest people on the planet and if you question their motives, you're in the wrong and must be a criminal shit bag. Then they mix religion with the LE worship, which makes for even more of a corrupt powder keg in the works. I lived there for three years of my life that I'll never have back. I honestly wish I hadn't moved there from WA.

Kansas is a constitutional carry state. Their winters have a dry cold and the terrain is pretty flat. Maine, even though it's typically a blue state, is also a constitutional carry state. It's super pretty there, too!

I'm looking at Northern Idaho and Alaska. Just have to nail down employment for meself, and all the kids. Washington is a lost cause, until outside money is no longer allowed in to sway our laws to the commie side.

TX is great, I lived in Austin for 10 years until recently. Texas will be a blue state in 20-30 years. There's also a massive influx of CA residents because of the cheap rents and rising job opportunities.

Don't count out Arkansas. Northwest Arkansas is beautiful, and the Ozarks are more like hills than mountains but amazing. Little Rock is a shithole like any other but that's most bigger cities anyway.

Don't forget, unless you are retired you will need to balance your location with job availability. My job here in OK pays twice what I was making in WA, with half the living costs.

I WAS looking forward to retirement in WA because no income tax, but damn the suck is getting worse.

I came here because WA was a free state to me. Still is. Will still do what I can to keep it that way.

The State doesn't Suck, it's King County and all the Liberals that populate it that Suck.

I see federal intervention via SCOTUS as the only (likely) way to save the entire USA from swirling into a drain in the next 50 years.

Which is ironic, because I see federal intervention in every tiny detail of our lives as the cause of the swirling suck storm.
