Watched Dunkirk followed by The Darkest Hour last weekend,
Some of these little pricks need to educate themselves....
we know the high buck overpayed teachers/school system don't feel the need for it.
Great video...awesome use of "Pinko"
Fitting ...#vaginahat
Not all teachers are bad jim. Its the administration and the few SJW A-Type personalities that make it tough. Considering the long extra hours and entire summers we dont get paid for, we're hardly over paid. Trying to support our family on my income has been incredibly difficult. Traditiknal family models and a teacher's salary dont mix well. I wont soapbox too hard here, but rest assured we're not overpaid for the time we work and training we have to endure.

This could be a really hard conversation so I'm not going to lay it all out in this thread
If you want to talk about it please PM me

I fought Nazi's back in the day. At Castle Wolfenstein.
I always thought it said 'Halt! Guards'..... until a couple years ago someone pointed out that speech synthesis wasn't perfect back then... Hahah

I have always thought public school teachers should be payed a base salary of $25,000/year and a performance bonus of up to $60,000.
Let the good teachers prosper and the worthless ones quit and go back to Burger King. Municipal unions like the WEA pit the teachers against the students and taxpayers.
Masters in Art History doesn't get you a job at Boeing. They knew what they were getting into. Either teaching, Starbucks, making $15/hr at a library, or dancing at a strip club for dollar bills.

No i get that the $12,000/yr per student doesnt find its way to the classroom and you guys have that ultra stupid common core shit to adhere to....
Im goot at math.
$10,000 x 30 students = a shit ton of cash.
the teacher gets what 20%?
I shouldnt have lumped the two together.
My apologies.
No problem. It was a birdwalk from the topic anyway. Just to put it out there though, the recent budget was passed to increase teacher salary statewide. Many districts had gone over 5+ years without cost of living adjustments. The budget allowed for as much as a 25% increase to teacher salaries in Tacoma. Guess what the district passed on to teachers?
0.05%
And they kept the remaining 24.95%. They also hired a bunch of new admin downtown.... go figure...
You're justified in being disgruntled and unsatisfied with the districts, but stand with the teachers. We can only do what we're told. So when you have a kid that isnt performing at standard, a parent that wont support the kid, and a district that only looks at test scores, you get teachers who burn out because they're stuck in an impossible situation. I cant raise the kid to care about school, i cant put clothes on his back, get his parents out of jail and off drugs, or keep his older siblings from running him down all the time. Its more complicated than you can imagine. I have horror stories that would make you sick. I cant be paid based on my students performance. Im just a small facet of their education.
Anyways. Im not debating it here or in PM. Just pointing out some realities.
