Our Shih tzu passed away unexpectedly last month and our dog could not handle being left alone so we went to the pound and told them we wanted an other Pomeranian since my wife and I have had 7 of them in the over 25 years we have been together. So they gave us this cute little Pomeranian to take home and he is just the sweetest thing.

American staffies are my favorite. I have one that’s a bit of a mix. He’s probably the best dog I’ve ever had.

I did a dna test on him and he’s part Great Pyrenees , part american bulldog and part american staffy.

Don't get a dog.

Ive been traumatized enough in the last year of having a dog and interacting with/seeing the public with their shitty fucking dogs. I have not met many owners that have the skill and patience to keep their dog in check and well behaved. Or can shut the fuck up about them.

I voted st bernard tho, cuz they peter pan and chill af. Gentle giants. Didnt vote newfie cuz normandy park pd may give you troubles.

Dogs make us, humans, better species.
Average dog's IQ is pretty equal to 3 y.o. human being.
Their main mission here is to teach us how to love. Once this mission is accomplished they can go to dogs' heaven.

Also, boeing probably has a discount with some pet insurance - trupanion (american pet insur. Co.) is local. I pay 47$ monthly with a 700$ deductible per condition. My company knocks off a few dollars if i go thru them maybe i should call those fucks to save them uncle jeffe dollars.

After seeing bulldog18s thread about a surgery or wounded warriors possible funding i said fuck that. I aint getting put in that kind of situation.

Another vote from me for a Shelter rescue. I got both of mine from Rescue shelters, the last one being my Black Lab-German Shorthair Pointer mix. He had what we thought were seizures in the beginning, but realized he just liked getting stoned off the wild mushrooms that were growing near my garden.

I have owned dogs my entire life, Retrievers, Cocker Spaniels, , Rottweiler's, Shepard's, and he is by far the most patient and loveable dog I have ever had.
