for those unsure about ownership, much less breed choice, check with your Shelter about "fostering" . For a few weeks you can take an animal home that has "kennel cough" ( a cold). If you don't, they must be put down to avoid infecting the whole shelter pop. Win/win. You get to test-drive, and learn your compatibilty with different breeds/sizes/ages.

Cats are assholes. Get a hyena and become an instant bad ass.
Attachment: 2.jpg As for dog, get a Rhodesian Ridgeback. They take some training, as do all dogs, but they are awesome. Great with kids, good energy, and they will want to be with you. I have 5 ft fences and she's never attempted to jump over them. Shit I can't get her to jump into the back of my Durango. But I know she has hops because she snatched a bug above my head and I'm 6 ft 1. I know another owner who has one, and they have 8 ft fences for a reason. So YMMV. |
