And Rick...... Subaru?

The man needs/said reliable.

He said nothing about needing a car that leaks like an old English Motorcycle.

The newer ones have the leaks all done and gone.
Show me a safer rated car?

http://hertzcarsales.com/

I bought a certified 2003 Honda Civic while in another state working on a job. I drove another car home and got two rides to make it to the dealership before they closed to drive the certified Honda Civic home. It died a block away. I called the dealership and they towed it back. Luckily for me Hertz Auto Sales was a few blocks away. In December darkness, in a bad neighborhood, I hiked to Hertz Auto Sales right before they closed and bought a Toyota. Took it to Les Schwab six mos. later and they could not find anything to replace. Nine mos later I got new front struts at 49K miles. You will get a hard sell to buy a warranty.

Hertz asked me how did I find out about them and I said "WaGuns(.org)" (an old Uber/Lyft thread mentioned Hertz Car Sales)

Were selling my wife’s 2014 Ford Focus hatchback titanium for around $8k. Great car, fantastic amenities. The only issue is the clutch on this car. Fords first real foray into the dct

3k$ for an '11 crown vic with less than 50k miles, another 5k$ for supercharger and enhancements.

Less than 10k, safe, and a sleeper to boot. Should net you about 25 MPG as long as you don't have 3.55 rears and you can keep your foot out of it.

The only downside is it only came with 1 fucking key and to get a replacement (from the Nissan Dealership) we got it at they told us it was gonna be 180$ for a second key.

I call BS but that is just me.

Buy the Mazda for sure. They're great little cars. Girls love them. And if Wajim says it's g2g that's all you need to hear.

Just tell her hopefully she lives up to the responsibility of having such a nice car, and if she can't, this may be the last one you ever help her get.
