From the PIF, we had a fun time at the Rainiers game last night. Rainiers had a good game, including a home run. Rainiers short stop made a heck of a short hop catch and throw out at 1st, only topped by the 3rd baseman making a harder catch and throw out at 1st! Saw the Rainers knock out a double play. And saw an impressive pitching performance - Rainiers pitcher struck out 3 batters in a row in the 7th inning! Then, with a nice lead, the relief pitcher hit two batters and the benches nearly emptied!

Nice ballpark, quaint. Love the crack on the bat for a homerun!

For added excitement, I lost my phone there. Had to come back to find it. Thankfully it was there.

As a self professed someone who doesn't follow pro sports, this was a fun time. And my date loves baseball, so it all paid off in the end... :)





I know some other Wagunners were there but I didn't run into any of ya'll.

It was a good time!! They always are. I'm not sure how I didn't meet up with you. I came up to the seats and met up with the other PIFers. Huh. Anyway, glad you had a good time!!

Maybe next season I'll set up a group outing. I'll talk to my ticket guy and get us a group rate.

I went to games for 6 years there. Old and new stadium. It is a great place to watch a game. I wish I lived closer... sometimes.

This was our first Rainiers game, but definately not the last. Kimberly and I had a great night. Second best part is light traffic before and after the game. Nothing like trying to in and out of Seattle.

Best part? Of course the free beer and pass to the Summit club.
