Condolences to his family, but I'm glad he no longer wields power or votes in Congress.
RIP...you were a great war hero, but a terrible Congressman.

I'm going to post something from the other side of the aisle.
This should be a wake up call for most of the other old, run down, washed up, has bins politicians. You've served your time. You've served your public. Time for you to retire... NOW! Go sit on the beach and relax. I'm sure you'll have plenty to smile about remembering how you made that last 10~20 million screwing over your constituents. Or You can work yourselves to death never to enjoy your millions sitting in the bank when you die like McStain did.

The problem that I see with this advice is that most of the Controllist politicians get their satisfaction by controlling... Not by minding their own business and spending ill-gotten income.

Normally I wouldn't grace dance but this SOB betrayed us and at the last second doomed us to live under Obamacare while he exempted himself from it. Hope he rots in Hades.

Just because someone stepped in a combat zone or became a POW does not make them a war hero. At the most he was a marginal performer.
There are plenty of fellow POWs that are enraged over McCains performance as a POW. There are also plenty of other POWs that did not make it back. But McCain always received preferential treatment since he was an admiral's son and grandson.

I think he REALLY started to lose it during his run for President. Despite his leanings, he had NO fight. Zero. Zip, just rolled over in the headlights. That should have been the end for him. Instead of retiring or getting a spine, he became a vindictive nasty liberal.

I rarely follow the elections, but I did see a few of his rallies or town hall meetings... The few that I saw were embarrassing in smarminess and poor engagement skills. It was like watching WWE when you wanted to see collegiate wrestling. I am generally embarrassed by politicians in general. He stood out.
