FBI leaked info, used stories to get FISA warrants
So..Agent A goes to a reporter and anonymously reports that Subject X is breaking the law, despite not having any evidence, or worse yet, obtained evidence illegally. Reporter runs the story Agent A says 'the news reported on it, we have reason to believe it's true and we need to investigate it', and *poof* gets a warrant. ...and I thought Hoover was bad _________________ NO DISASSEMBLE! ...says a "Republican congressman"...because "his office had information suggesting the FBI leaked information to the press and used the resulting articles to help obtain surveillance warrants."
