We have a netflix thread, why not a YT thread?
We all know the Steven Crowders, the Sargon of Akkads,and mrgunsngears of the world, but what interests you most outside of the normal politics and guns? My top 3, which I watch the most.... _____________________________________________________ 1st is Project Farm This guy is like the redneck Mr. Wizard. He tests small engines to death and tests different products and myths, like 'which penetrating fluid works best' or 'can an engine run off of x'...or 'can an engine run using x as oil'.... Very informative. He does everything out of his home shop but documents it well, and uses controlled tests to get his data.. _____________________________________________ 2nd, is serpentza/laowhy86/ADVChina They're technically 3 channels, but they're practically the same, so I'm cheating and making it one. Serpentza is a South African who moved to China, and he documents everything, laowhy86 is an American who does the same thing, and ADVChina is the channel where they come together to do mini documentaries and commentary. A lot of the stuff is chit-chat, but there are some mini documentaries, like exploring the border area between China and North Korea, and how the border is both wide open and tightly controlled at the same time..from the perspective of average guys, not some political pundit.... VERY enlightening... ______________________________________________ 3rd is TodayIFoundOut which is also very informative, it's a cross between a 'did you know?' and 'fact of the day' style videos that usually runs a couple minutes....Definitely some interesting stuff. _________________ NO DISASSEMBLE! CGP Grey (although sometimes his politics come through), Today I Found Out (also, occasionally lets politics slip in), and the Slingshot channel (kinda firearms related).

1) Linus Tech Tips and Techlinked.....just goofy tech channel and news 2) South Main Auto Repair....Auto mechanic who does a great job teaching 3)Abom79....fun to watch manual machinist then there are 4)1320...fun cars 5) Cleetus McFarland....fun channel with drag cars 6) RR buildings....contractor who builds pole barns....not sure why I enjoy watching it as much as I do lol 7)How Farms Work.....follows a farm |
