That uber driver was pretty damn quick on the draw/fire. It would be curious to know when he actually drew or were he had his weapon. I am not going for my weapon everytime someone cuts me off. It is normal procedure to cut people off around here it seems. But the speed at which these sort of thing happen really gives me pause and makes me think about some of these situations differently.
10sec after he cuts him off and you hear the horn, the truck stops and he is stepping out. 4 seconds later the Uber driver has shot him after he approached and appeared to raise a gun. That may seem like a long time to people, but seated in a vehicle, drawing a weapon from concealment is going to take a couple seconds out of that 4 or less he had reacting to The attacked exiting his vehicle.. I am thinking there was probably previous video/build up to this final conclusion and maybe the uber driver already had his weapon handy?
Wasn't very long ago, I was on a back road.
For about 3 miles, it is very secluded. Even noise from there would not likely reach anyone to hear it. No one was likely to come down that road again, for hours.
A vehicle pulled onto the road behind me, as I entered the secluded area. For about a mile, they were doing everything they could to get me to pull over.
After I gave them room to pass me, and they didn't just pass me, I finally figured out that they were trying to get me to pull over and stop.
Something in my gut told me not to do so. I also pulled my handgun from it's holster and wedged it in place beside me, so I could get it out of there in a hurry. In case they somehow forced me off the road.
They were not as aggressive as this guy was. Yet, I prepared myself.
I am not surprised that he was already ready to respond when he saw what appeared to be a gun.
